Surgical Dermatology

A major part of dermatologic surgical procedures can be performed in my practice under local anaesthesia on an outpatient basis.
They include the removal of suspicious changes of the skin, or skin changes that are bothering patients for aesthetic reasons.

Taking skin samples:
In cases of dermatologically suspicious changes of the skin, I will subsequently send tissue samples for examination to a specialised dermatohistopathology laboratory.

Benign skin growths:
Annoying skin growths such as fibromas (stem warts) or also seborrhoeic keratoses (senile warts) can in the majority of cases be removed superficially.

Cryotherapy:
For skin lesions due to sun exposure (actinic keratoses), warts, but also dark spots, cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen (freezing) is available in my practice.

I will be pleased to offer you in-depth advice and answer all your questions!
